What shoes do i wear???

there's a dress that i have [that i love!] and i dont know what kind of shoes to wear with it. the dress goes to right above my knee and is made out of a floaty fabric. im sorry that there's no picture, but please use your imagination as well as you can. its an empire waist dress with 1inch thick straps. the main color is a sandy golden tan. there are large turquoise and coral pink lotus flowers on it. and there are leaves that have shades of dark green and gold, but the leaves are not very noticible. the whole dress looks very asia-inspired.

if you can think of anything to go with it, even if u know nothing about shoes, any answer will be appreciated.



P.S.

no flip-flops or flats where im going in the dress!

A pair of gold sandal type shoes.

Would they look good with green alligator skin winkle pickers or whatever they are called?

If your buying them, don't invest in wedges, biggest shoe fad ever (apart from uggs)
Reply:I'd say look for a black shoe that has a very small heel. Wedges are deffinitely not something to wear with a dress like that. Besides, wedges are ugly as it is.



I know you said no flats, but i think they'd look great with the dress. Maybe try to find a pair of flats that have a small heel on them. Some of them look very nice with dresses.

Reply:i would say go for either a coral, gold, turquoise or dark green color of shoe. Even if the dark green isn't very noticeable, a shoe can always pop. So i found a few that you might like;
