Hi, I'm planning a cover up tattoo on my back and have decided what I want but I can't locate any free designs to base mine on. I plan to design it myself but need some to look at as a guideline and was wiondering whether anyone could help me find any images?? I want a design based on the japanese lotus flower or something similar. Preferably in darker colours as it needs to cover an exisiting black tattoo that I've grown out of - it was good at the time but not now! Please no lectures on the perils of getting tattoos that you live to regret - I don't regret it for one second, just want something else!

Why don't you base it on a photograph and then trace it? Using Google, Flicker or some of the other sites people have suggested.
The other thing is that the tattoo parlor will often help you with a design free of charge if you get the tattoo with them. I have lizard that was part of another design that Id didn't like and the guy helpful re-drew it on its own for me.
It's worth going through all the books and if you see one that is 'kind of' what you want they will usually customize it for you.
Having said all that I did special search on Google and see my link for what I found...
